What changes between tickets?

Daylight is for the architecture

The official Essential visit includes general admission, a videoguide in 11 languages, and the courtyards, apartment, attic and rooftop. Its stated duration is 90 minutes; adults start at €29. The GYG daytime listing is distinct: fast-track entry, audio, valid for a day and a selected time. Check the exact seller's terms.

Allow about 1–1.5 hours for the official self-guided route, then more if you enjoy exhibits and photographs. Some visitors focus on the roof and attic; others value the furnished apartment and inner courtyards. Audio helps explain rooms, while models reward a slower look.

Evening is a separate show

The Night Experience lasts 1.5 hours and is semi-guided. A guide introduces each level; projections animate the stairwells and roof, and a glass of cava is included. It has a scheduled rhythm and its own evening slots. Choose it for the light-and-sound finale, not as a substitute for the daytime audio ticket.

If you want both, book two separate experiences and allow a gap. One reservation does not cover both formats.

A quieter guided start

The early-morning GYG listing lasts 90 minutes, has live guiding in English or Chinese, and describes early access with restricted areas. It starts at €40/person and meets at Passeig de Gràcia 92. Official Sunrise is separate: adults from €39.50 and partially accessible. Check exact names and terms.

Compare prices fairly

Checked starts: GYG day €29/person, night €40/person, early access €40/person. Official Sunset starts €25/adult and Sunrise €39.50/adult. These are different products, not date quotes. Date, category, season and selected option change checkout totals. Lower price may omit guide, audio, cava or flexible entry.

Online booking may secure a preferred time, but general hours are not your session. Summer 2026 standard opening is listed as 9:00–20:30, night 20:40–22:20; winter hours change. Recheck hours and closures before travel.

Weather and access matter

Rain may close the roof for safety. Official rescheduling of an unvalidated ticket and reseller terms differ. Check your chosen product; rooftop access is not guaranteed in rain.

The building is partially wheelchair accessible. Lifts and ramps connect floors, but the uneven rooftop is not fully accessible. A lift-exit platform gives a partial view. Official maximum wheelchair width is 63 cm; loan depends on prior booking and availability. Contact the access team. Service dogs are admitted in visitable spaces.

The entrance is at Passeig de Gràcia 92. Diagonal metro is on lines 3 and 5; FGC Provença and Renfe Passeig de Gràcia are nearby. Use your confirmation for time, language and arrival details.
